How can we help you?
We encourage our patients to feel comfortable asking questions about proposed dental treatments. Dr. Wesley R. Davis and our team always take the time to discuss your procedure in detail, and we know that there’s a lot to think about. That’s why it’s vital that you share any concerns or questions you may have about your proposed treatment. The best way for us to meet your expectations is to understand what’s important to you.
Listed below are a few questions our team hears most often. You probably have many more of your own, so please call our office and a friendly member of our team will be happy to assist you.
What Can You Expect from Invisalign Treatments?
It depends on the complexity of the individual case. Many straighforward treatments can be finished in 6 to 9 months. More difficult cases can take 12 to 18 months to complete. Keep in mind the aligners are very comfortable and virtually invisible to others. If you have any questions about Invisalign, or any other dental treatments in the Hershey PA area, please, don't hesitate to call the dental office of Wesley R. Davis DDS!
At the office of Wesley R. Davis, DDS, we offer Invisalign clear braces as well as other cosmetic dentistry services that can address crooked and tilted teeth.
Using 3-D modeling and impressions taken of your teeth, the Invisalign lab creates a series of custom aligners designed to address your specific alignment problems.
What is Invisalign made of?
Invisalign clear aligners are made of smooth, FDA-approved plastic material that won’t irritate the sensitive tissue in your mouth. During the course of your treatment, these aligners will gradually move your teeth closer to the desired position.
You'll wear your aligners throughout the day, taking them out for eating or drinking. Because Invisalign aligners are clear and match the shape of your teeth, most people will never notice you're wearing them. You'll visit our Hershey dental office every six weeks or so for a checkup and new aligners.
Are there other options?
Other cosmetic services that can correct and conceal the appearance of crooked teeth are veneers and dental bonding. Since everyone’s needs are different, the way we approach every case will be different. Call our office today to make an appointment for a convenient consultation. At that time, we’ll evaluate your needs and work together to come up with the solution that’s just right for you.
